The qualities of Prymachenko' s art are solid lines and bold colors. Her paintings often include large animals in strange colors, such as a red lion with yellow dots and a green mane. Her later works were heavily influenced by her experience with war. Both her partner and her brother were killed during World War II. This led her to create works that promoted peace. Perhaps her most famous peace-themed work is A Dove Has Spread Her Wings and Asks for Peace.
