In March 2018, Norwegian scientists put a tracker on a young female Arctic fox to study her behavior. The fox then set off on a 3,506-kilometer journey from Norway to Canada. She completed the journey in just 76 days, running an average of 46 kilometers a day. Arctic foxes are known for their ability to survive in harsh polar conditions. However, no fox had ever been recorded reaching such high speeds and covering such a vast distance before, not to mention the fact that it was done in a short amount of time.
