There’s a new outdoor sport called snow biking for extreme sports athletes. Imagine a cross between a dirt bike and a snowmobile. Unlike snowmobiles, snow bikes are generally much lighter, and the narrow body is easier to ride. They were invented during World War II. However, the trend in snow biking didn’t take off until 2009, when a group of motocross bikers in the US began fitting dirt bikes with skis and snowmobile treads.
