可译为：During the summer in Taiwan, the weather is often sunny with intense heat for days on end.

译题密技：

 for hours / days / weeks 等 + on end　　连续数小时∕数天∕数星期等（不与具体数字并用）

字词加油站：

 a. sunny　a. 晴朗的，有阳光的

 b. intense　a. 强烈的，极端的

2. 专家建议大众在户外应该要擦防晒（sunscreen）并且撑伞。

可译为：Experts suggest that the public (should) wear sunscreen and hold an umbrella when they are outdoors.

译题密技：

 S + suggest + that + S + (should) + 原形动词……建议……（应该）……

 suggest 作「建议」时，为意志动词，其后的 that 子句中须使用助动词 should，但 should 可予以省略，而直接接原形动词。
