The growing industry of waiting in lines for other people has emerged over the past 10 years. One man who saw the potential for this type of work is Robert Samuel, founder of Same Ole Line Dudes (SOLD Inc.). He got into the business in 2012 after he lost his job as a sales representative in New York City. In desperate need of cash, he decided to place an advertisement offering to wait in someone else’s place to purchase the soon-to-be-released iPhone 5.
