After the supply of NEWater stabilized, the brand decided to explore more opportunities and enter the alcohol industry. In 2018, it partnered with a local Singaporean brewery. Together, they developed a light craft beer called NEWBrew. Although NEWBrew tastes like an ordinary craft beer, 95% of it is made using NEWater. Some other ingredients used in production include German barley, yeast from Norway, and calypso hops. As it turns out, NEWater is an excellent choice for brewing because it has a neutral taste.
