　　However, left and right are more complex. Telling these two apart requires a person to first remember which side is their left and which is their right. Then, the person must figure out whether an object is on the left or the right side. Lastly, they have to assign the word left or right to an object. The fact that left and right depend on perspective makes it much harder. Experts are still unable to answer why up to a third of people have trouble telling left from right. Luckily, many people have learned to deal with the problem in their own ways. For example, some people tattoo hints on their arm while others remember that watches are typically worn on the left wrist.
